COACHING INFORMATION

Anyone interested in being a coach for TYBA and has indicated so on the online registration form, must complete and provide the following clearances before the season starts:

Coaches Code of Conduct

All head coaches must be approved by the Board, no exceptions.  Head coaches may name their assistant coaches provided that they meet the criteria to coach for TYBA and sign the Code of Conduct.

 

All coaches agree to the following and shall print off/sign and turn in the Code of Conduct Form (PDF link below) which states:

​

  • Shall be responsible to teach the fundamentals of baseball and good sportsmanship to their players.

  • Shall distribute playing time (per league rules) and positional play in a fair manner.

  • Shall attempt to maintain a safe environment for their players.

  • Shall maintain all equipment distributed by TYBA and provided for player use during league practices/games only.

  • Shall comply with the rules of Trinity Youth Baseball Association and GR50

  • Shall be responsible for the actions of the players assigned to their team.

  • Shall be responsible for maintaining the playing field and surrounding area, including removal of trash after each practice/game.

  • Shall make every effort to attend all meetings of TYBA.

  • Shall refrain from use of abusive or foul language, tobacco products, or alcohol at all TYBA events.

  • Shall comply with the decisions of league officials for both TYBA and GR50 and shall observe all rules, policies, and procedures as established by TYBA and GR50.

  • Shall refrain from posting on social media any discontent with TYBA, GR50, umpires, coaches, parents, etc.

  • Shall conduct themselves in a manner that best serves the interest of the players and TYBA.

  • Shall Treat all players, parents, coaches, spectators, and league officials with respect.
